St. Francis of Assisi

The Patron Saint of EFJ

École Father Jan chose St. Francis of Assisi as our school saint because of his love of animals. Our students truly love all animals that God has created and work to protect them and understand the important role they play in our world.

St. Francis of Assisi is well known for his love of animals, his simplicity in life and his practice of poverty.

October 4, St Francis of Assisi’s Feast Day, is a day when many people ask for their pets to be blessed and kept safe.
